Day 1: Gangtok To Lachung
You will be picked up from their hotels at 10 am and driven to Lachung (115 km, 9600 ft). Along the way, enjoy stops at scenic spots including Tashi View Point, Kabi Lungtsok, Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, and Bhim Nala Waterfall. Lunch will be served at Namok, a wayside inn. The entire journey takes about 6-7 hours. Upon arrival in Lachung, check in at our hotel, known for its comfort and hospitality.
Day 2 Lachung To Yumthang/Back to Lachung
After breakfast, depart for Yumthang, known as “The Ultimate Paradise”. Surrounded by lush green valleys and high-peaked mountains, the valley bursts into a riot of colors in April, May, and June with Rhododendron, Alpine, and Primula flowers. Yumthang is also renowned for its sulphur-rich hot springs. In November, December, and January, you can enjoy scenic and panoramic views of the valleys and surrounding snow-capped mountain ranges.
After exploring Yumthang, return to Lachung for lunch at 2 pm. Following lunch, visit Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry, and the waterfalls. Dinner will be served at 9 pm.
Day 3-Lachung To Gangtok back
After breakfast, set out for Gangtok. If the weather permits, you may catch a glimpse of the mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik. Enjoy lunch at the same hotel in Namok. After lunch, visit Phodong Monastery en route to Gangtok.
Arrive in Gangtok where the package tour concludes. Farewell!
