Day 1: Arrival To Gangtok
Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction), our representative will be there to greet you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok (110 Km / 4 to 5 Hrs). Sikkim, nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by towering mountains and verdant valleys, bordered by Tibet to the north, Bhutan to the east, and Nepal to the west. Upon reaching Gangtok, check-in at your hotel. In the evening, explore the vibrant M.G. Marg and soak in the serene atmosphere of Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion To Tsomgo (Changu) Lake And Baba Mandir
After enjoying your breakfast this morning, get ready for a memorable journey to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 44 km), one of the highest Himalayan lakes. This beautiful oval-shaped lake spans nearly 1 km in length with an average depth of 50 ft, located in the East Sikkim District. Tsomgo Lake is known for its holiness, with a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva situated on its shores. The area is adorned with Primula flowers and other alpine vegetation, enhancing its pristine beauty. Following this, proceed to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,000 ft / 15 km / 30 minutes). After visiting Baba Mandir, return to Gangtok. In the evening, you can enjoy leisure by exploring MG Road or the local market.
Day 3: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel this morning, start a full-day excursion to explore Gangtok and its surroundings. The local sightseeing itinerary will be as per the guide’s schedule. Places to visit include Banjhakri Falls, Gonjang Monastery, Tashi View Point, Zoological Park, Dro-Dul-Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Handicraft & Handloom Center, Flower Show Complex, Hanuman Tok, and Ganesh Tok, a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha offering amazing views of Gangtok. After a full day of sightseeing, return to the hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure to stroll around MG Marg or explore the local market. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
4: Departure From Gangtok To Ixb / Njp
Today marks the farewell day of your magnificent tour. We sincerely hope you’ve cherished every moment of your journey with us. We kindly ask you to take a few moments of your valuable time to share your thoughts and experiences from the tour.
